Key Responsibilities:
- He/She supervises cleaners to carry out their work & inspects work area cleaned by cleaners to ensure it meets established standards
- He/She manages the work schedule of cleaners and reallocates work to cover absences.
- He/She ensures all cleaning equipment is well maintained and is safe for use.
- He/She checks on the stock level of cleaning materials and equipment
- Ordering and issuing of cleaning materials
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities in all areas and giving weekly reports
- Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Oversee staff attendance, discipline, grooming, motivation and career development
- Identifying the training needs of cleaners under their supervision
- Writing monthly reports of work progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience with a professional cleaning company
- Previous experience of managing a team
- The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
- Ability to train and onboard new staff
- Must be proactive and have a growth mindset(important)
- Possess Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Have Health and Safety experience
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures
